Helping You Look and Feel Your Best

At the Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction, our surgeons are experts at repair work. Using innovative muscle-sparing techniques such as the GAP, PAP, and DIEP flaps, we can create full, natural-looking breasts with tissue from your own body. Your own tissue can be used to give you a more natural and permanent result.

Approximately 1/3 of our patients have experienced failed implant reconstruction, and we're able to “start over” without sacrificing any of your important muscles. Additionally, we understand that going through a failed reconstruction is exhausting, and the last thing you need is to wait another year just to be seen. Most patients who come to us for revision surgery schedule their first consultation within 6 to 8 weeks.

If you're unhappy with the appearance of a prior mastectomy or breast surgery, the Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction can help. Frequently Asked Questions

Can you repair a reconstruction that was done somewhere else?

Absolutely. Many of our patients come to us after experiencing failed implant reconstruction or unsatisfactory results from a prior implant-based surgery. Our surgeons are experienced in using your own tissue to create full, natural-looking results even in complex revision cases, and we do this work every day as the core of our practice.

How long will I wait to be seen for a revision consultation?

Most new patients, including those coming for revision surgery, schedule their first consultation within 6 to 8 weeks. We know how much you've already been through, and we don't want a long waitlist to be yet another obstacle. Reach out to our team, and we'll get you in as soon as possible.

Will my insurance cover revision or repair surgery?

In many cases, yes. Thanks to the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA), most group insurance plans that cover mastectomies are also required to cover breast reconstruction, including revision procedures. We are in-network with most major insurers. Our administrative team will check your benefits and walk you through your coverage before your surgery date so there are no surprises.
