Varicose Veins Treatment

Dear sister warrior/survivor/thriver,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to extend a warm invitation to the Sister Warrior Art Project Retreat for breast cancer thrivers. Please find the flyer and pamphlet here: Flyer and Pamphlet.

The first phase of this retreat will take place Saturday, February 3, from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm, in Room FAD 105 in the Dance Studio Building located on the USF Tampa campus. The second virtual phase will begin on Thursday, February 8th, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Ideally, you would register for both phases, but you may choose to register for just one phase. We have limited availability, so we kindly ask that all who are interested in attending sign up online below:

For the phase one, In-Person Retreat: Retreat Event Page

For the phase two, Virtual Photovoice Project: Photovoice Project Event Page

In addition to registering for this event, please take the time to join the SWAP Sister Warrior Art Project Facebook group, which will allow you to meet other breast cancer thrivers and stay in the know about other SWAP events and projects: SWAP Facebook Group.

During this retreat, we will explore various artistic mediums guided by myself, as well as my wonderful colleagues, Dr. Merry Lynn Morris and Dr. Margaret McGladrey. Attendees will have the opportunity to come together, share their stories, self-reflect, and through creative expression, create a beautiful dance and/or photography collage visual that will allow attendees to embrace their relationship with their physical body, mind, and feelings.

Please find the flyer and pamphlet attached with some further information about the retreat.

If you have more questions about this event, please don't hesitate to contact the administrative specialist, Emily Pacula at epacula@usf.edu or the administrative specialist assistant, Nicolle Salomon at njs101@usf.edu.

Thank you for considering this invitation and I truly hope you will join us on this empowering journey.

Warmly,
Helene
